last "official" post

so todays the last "official post" that I'm going to do. perhaps I'll update this every so often, I kind of like it. and even though, you all know who is writing this by now, the security behind it feels nice. none of my friends  see this blog, and not even my boyfriend. I wouldn't care if they did, in a way, but I feel like I'm writing to myself and getting some feedback here and there.  I guess I'll go back to my original blog idea for the last blog...but on the other hand, Michael is going home within the week and is doing well!!! Praise the Lord.

so...my vent this week is about Love. I'm sure we've all been in it, and i'm sure a lot of us have fallen in love fast, or slow, or it was a train wreck, or it's perfect etc. and I've been in all those places at some point or another. but it really irks me when girls are in SERIOUS relationships one month, and then get over him fine...ii've been there, circumstances can change things. and its okay to fall fast, but when you're annoying about it and talking about marrying him, and baby names, and you're just super clingy it gets annoying fast.   Especially when you know the reason they started dating in the first place, and the reasons you stay around. sure you may genuinely like someone...but to want their money and for them to spoil you...you're just a  brat.

girls.....they realllllly get under my skin haha!

until the next time...!

another update:)

So, this semester my main focus of this blog was to vent about things...but a few weeks ago everthing was put into persepective for me...why am i complaining about stupid little stuff...i'm going to come across annoying habits, people, and personalities, but complaining about them won't help...so again, today I'm writing about my brothers friend Cpl Michael Fox. i'm shocked at how far he's come, to see pictures of his smiling face, and positive attitude all over facebook just makes my heart to so warm. i can't imagine all the emotions he is feeling, a long with his family and really close friends. he's a fighter!!  I think most people forget there is a war going on...I know I do. Now more then ever...10 years later as we are still fighting this war. take some time to thank our military, write a card or send out a care package, anything you can do to help, they reallly do appreciate.  Now more then ever. The holidays are so lonely for the military personnel and familes who wait patiently at home for them. I have included the news article of Fox, a facebook group for him and his guys in the platoon still over seas, and a letter from his family. there is also his address at the bottom if anyone wants to drop a little card of encouragement or thanks to him. Most refer to him as Fox, or Michael, or Mikey.

you'll have to copy and paste the link...it wouldn't let me create a link...

Facebook post, posted by his family-
Corporal Michael Fox was seriously injured in Afghanistan on 11/15/11 when he stepped on an IED and lost his legs. He broke his left arm, and wrist -At this time he can’t move his left arm. He was sent to Germany, then Bethesda Naval Hospital in Maryland. Since arriving in the US, Michael had surgeries every other day. These surgeries are grueling, painful and tiring. He is thankful to be alive and considers himself lucky. Michael is in great pain but he is facing these surgeries with a very positive attitude. He cares about the people surrounding him more than himself. I am so proud of Michael, I am in awe of his wonderful personality, and the intensity of his inner strength. In my eyes, he is a brave superhero! He is loved by so many people; he comforts others at the hospital and especially his buddies still in Afghanistan. I am so proud to know him and to call him a part of MY family. Not sure when he will be able to come back home to San Diego.
I ask everyone please pass this story to their family, friends, and co-workers; print it and put it everywhere you can think of . I want to get his story to as many people as possible and ask that if you can please take a few minutes to drop him a line or two of support from the community. Schools could ask a class or two to make a card for him for Michael or his fellow troop members. This season please express your thanks for the selfless acts from men and woman far away from home that keep us safe. During the Christmas holiday can you please spare one of your Christmas cards to let Michael know that his sacrifice is appreciated from the people he took an oath to protect?
You can send well wishes during this season not only to Michael, but to all troops that are still in harm’s way. Even one card can make a difference in someone's life. You might never know how much until you do it.
Please send your well wishes directly to Michael at the following address:
