Back on track now with my normal Blogging....This week, I think I'll write about presents...now my family isn't rich by anymeans. we live comfortably within our means, and don't have fancy things, just nice things. we all work hard for our money and what we have, so i think this is part of the reason why this bothers me.
I know this happens all over, and I don't mean to sound mean, but it's just really irritating to me, when everyone just concentrates solely on presents and getting getting getting. Christmas isn't about presents, and if you don't believe that, that's okay, its a free country. But to hear and see people who get EVERYTHING handed to them, want more and more, and then ask for extremely expensive things it is so irritating. especially a few people i know. It's awesome if mommy and daddy can buy you your car, and pay for everything. But i'm sorry that's not teaching you anything. My parents can help me out, but I've been working since i was like 9, being a 'mothers helper' and eventually working at daycares and restaurants. I've held two jobs and gone to school full time. I know the value of a dollar, I know what it's like to have money to spend, and not enough money to even sleep....(which i am beyond grateful for my parents that can help me out when i need it). but really....do you REALLY need to ask for that 400$ wallet? or that 800$ purse? or that 80$ shirt? or those 175$ shoes? that's just horrendous to me. if my parents were wealthy enough to give me or buy me that kind of stuff awesome. maybe start getting some nice clothes or things like that, but save the rest and I'll put it as a down payment towards a house or car. why waste hundreds of dollars when you can get something that's just as cute or nice for idk...40... a 40$ wallet, and 90$ purse..fine it's a special holiday...but really..? HUNDREDS? tell your parents to send me the money to pay off my school loans, my car loan, or my car insurance, while I work and go to school.
something on FB really sparked my interest and nerves today...o:)

quick post!
so last weeks blog was a depressing one about my brothers friends hitting an IED and losing both of his legs in afghanistan....but this one holds good news. He will be okay! just will have a battle to fight for the rest of his life, but he's a fighter and so determined, I'm sure he'll be back on his bike in no time. still just a sad situation...
lets see what else...last saturday my boyfriend took me to disney on ice. now I'm never one to love childish things, but this show was awesome! I LOVED it! and he did too! We're both suckers for Disney movies, so it was a great time! even if it was filled with kids everywhere...(I work at a daycare so I didn't mind!) and he might've liked it because it was at the devils stadium...haha but he said he enjoyed it! and this weekend we're going away to Ricketts Glen, to hike and hang out at whatevers out there...probably not much. His parents went not to long ago and they loved it! so I'll let oyu know how our big hike goes! It's a little over 7 miles I think so I'm stoked.
I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving! We all have so much to be Thankful for living here in the U.S. :)

Thankful for...
This week is going to be a little different...it must be the holidays that does this to me! I'll probably blog again on sunday because I have such an exciting weekend ahead of me..but for today...I have a different blog.
long story short..
http://www.pomeradonews.com/2011/11/29/rancho-bernado-high-grad-seriously-injured-in-afghanistan/
I can't seem to shake these thoughts, of what these poor guys will have to endure for the rest of their lives. It hurts me to see what Fox, and all that know him will have to psychologically endure for the rest of their lives. we can't even being to think what he is actually feeling...or his family...or close friends... I may not be one who supports war, but really who is? I do know we have to support our troops. If you don't stand behind them...feel free to stand in front of them. In leu of Veterans day, and thanksgiving day coming up. Be thankful for the marines, and other military personnel protecting your freedom. They put their lives on the line for all of us. Even if this war ends, anytime soon...these men and women will be fighting battles for the rest of their lives. Keep them in your thoughts and prayers daily, because we will NEVER know exactly what they see and go through over there. I couldn't imagine having to push through every day, especially when a brother is hurt of KIA...

why??
I was going to write after this weekend, because I have so much going on...but....I'm sitting in the grand study hall doing my homework, and some sort of Kean team is here, but I can't tell what sport they play... but I do know they are having "study hall" together, if you even want to call it that.
I am such a people watcher, and I must admit I pick up on things pretty well. These guys are so loud! Don't they know that this room is used for quiet studying? they can go and talk outside of this room, but I feel like his room is reserved for quiet studying, or sleeping. Thank God I'm not working on anything important because they are really annoying. I don't see anyone from class here, so I know I won't offend anyone, even more so because I didn't specify the team. Anyway, they should be more polite and quiet! They are representing Kean, and yes I know we're all Kean students here, but really? whatever team this is, I don't like anymore and probably wouldn't support haha
Like I've said before I'm around guys a lot, and grew up around guys, I'm not a super girly girly who get's offended about things...but boy are these guys vulgar! I don't think I have heard a sentence that didn't talk about sleeping with a girl, or hating a girl but still sleeping with her, or what they would want to do to a girl... or just cursing about this and that. They sound so arrogant, pompous, and crude. I mean don't get me wrong, half of them are working and being quiet, and a few of them moved away to work, but maybe five or six of these guys are just awful! I just feel like they should be more respectful. 1) be more quiet in here 2) there are women around and you are all being extremely disrespectful, its even making me feel awkward sitting here and 3) you all sound like idiots, and everyone is getting mad at you (and when they recognize someone is mad...they just trash talk them.)
I guess I just hold high standards for adults, because once again, that is what we are. And I don't mean that in a stuffy way, because let's be for real and honest these are the best days of our lives...but haven't they learned respect or manners?
Why do people do this? would you say something to them, or ask them to lower their voices??

Personal Space
I'm not too sure what has happened over time, but it seems like recently people are just so nosey and don't abide by the "personal space" rule anymore. First off, if someone wants to tell you something they will, even if you have to ask a few questions, they will either open up or deny you, you cant pry information out of someone. (yes I know sometimes, we as humans want someone to sort of pry information out of us, because it makes us feel like we are cared about but thats a different topic) I'm talking about just being nosey with general information about friends, or boyfriends or who you like, just stupid stuff. I feel like telling half the people that ask me questions it's none of their business because I only see you IN school. I don't even have your phone number, nor do we talk outside of this class that meets once a week. Why do you think I would want to tell you about my past or current problems. Perhaps it's small talk you want? That's fine...ask me what I did in the past week that I haven't seen you.
I love talking with people, and I'm like an open book, but don't ask me such blunt, personal questions when you're literally inches away from my face. Get to know me first, and I will tell you anything you want to know.
This vent isn't just coming from me too, I was having a conversation with a real friend about this the other day, and it just bugged me out. I feel like nothing can really be private anymore and the sanctity of friendship is dwindling away, with all these nosey acquaintances and social networking that allow you to know anyones waking move if they allow you too. And don't get me wrong I love 'creeping' on peoples lives and finding out new things, its human nature. I just think there is a way of doing so, and a time and a place.
**ALSO** sidenote....I was looking online at bags and a wallet...yes a wallet..was 400$.....I'm STILL SHOCKED...

continued...
I said I would write about my Halloween, which was A LOT better then I had expected. Because of the snow there were a few people who couldn't make it but that was okay my main concern was the girls lol One who got there, noone likes at all, just because she cant have fun and all she wants to do is get high and sleep and were not into that haha. She wanted to leave within the first hour I'd say...which was really annoying because her boyfriend was having fun. and the other girl was my friend from school who is "with" my boyfriends friend. So it was all good there.
My boyfriend, his sister and I ran around like crazy before the party clearing snow, running to shoprite, and i had to straighten my hair and make cupcakes and brownies and taco dip all within an hour and a half. Thank God I got my haircut in the morning so I didn't have to wash and blow dry it....But everyone started to come over around 7 ish just because the roads were bad (which i understand it took me an hour to get to his house instead of 30 minutes!). We all had a great time between games and just goofin around. it was definitely one of the best nights i had in a really long time. Since it was his party all his friends came, which i'm friends with too but you know how that works. It was all fun though because I get a long with his friends, they're all great! I could go on more about my night but its the kind of thing that you'd have to be there to get, or know the people. But I'm just happy with the outcome, little to no drama, no stupid, annoying girls, no super drunk idiots, good food and good company. I usually don't care for Halloween too much, but after this party I'm already thinking about next year and what I can be. It has to top my ninja turtle outfit from this year!
Anyways, I hope you all had fun at your Halloween parties too, and that stupid snow storm didn't mess anything up!!
