So last week I wrote about girls, and this week the lucky ones are the boys! I just wanted to mention that again these are things I have noticed in my own circle of males I have known through the years through people or personally, it is not a generalization so don't get offended (for those emotional boys:) ).
I grew up with two older brothers, so I have been around guys all my life. Matter of fact I would say I get along better with guys. They are down to earth, they say what they mean. They don't normally sweat the small stuff, they're funny but of course there are some down falls.
I think the first thing I want to point out(which can go for girls too) but why do some guys feel the need to curse so much!? I'm not offended by cursing, but its just down right so unattractive(and a lot of girls will admit that too). It really doesn't make you cool guys, its just really annoying to be honest. I mean a curse here of there that's fine. but when you 'curse like a sailor/trucker' It's not something that girls would really find attractive.
Next on my list. is hygiene! ughh boys, boys, boys! you cannot wear the same outfit three days in a row! and thats not even a fashion thing! thats just a hygiene thing. you have to change your boxers and your socks and probably your shirt too! jeans could be different because you can re-wear them. But really....shower everyday. BRUSH YOUR TEETH at least twice a day. and just be put together nice. just because you're a boy doesn't mean you HAVE to be gross. (and not all boys are gross, and some girls can be gross..but i mean...people pleaseeeee)
Lastly, you dont have to be a showoff all the time. girls like confident men, but we like it when you make us feel special. don't ignore us, put up with us when we're being crazy and bitchy, because lets be for real we are crazy and bitchy, but its kinda you're job to put up with us:P
It's harder to write things about boys, probably because I can tolerate them more lol and because I know as females we are confusing, but you boys can be JUST as bad, if not more bad sometimes. I think most women would admit the guys in their lives PMS too...

When it comes to cursing, I think it's just a cultural thing nowadays. Profanity is a part of everyday life now, most especially on the internet.

ReplyDeleteI know how you feel. I cannot stand cursing, It is disrespectful, especially in front of females. I am guessing they do it because they think it makes the cool. After my boyfriend hangs with his friends and then me, he curses with me not even realizing it. It is because he just spent a cursed filled hour of his life with his friends. I say, "Pawel, it is ME, not your friends!" Immediately, without saying, "Huh?", he stops, haha!
ReplyDeleteYa know, a smile is one of the physical features many people look for in a guy/girl. How can this be an attractive feature if he or she does not brush his or her teeth....? EW!
One more thing that bothers me with guys: PLEASE DO NOT BE CLINGY!!!
I always though ppl curse that much because they have a limited vocabulary and have to recycle those 7 of the 10 total words they know.

It's a bit degrading when boys expect that a single nice compliment to a girl will get her in bed. (I hope that) Most girls have more self-confidence than that.
