I said I would write about my Halloween, which was A LOT better then I had expected. Because of the snow there were a few people who couldn't make it but that was okay my main concern was the girls lol One who got there, noone likes at all, just because she cant have fun and all she wants to do is get high and sleep and were not into that haha. She wanted to leave within the first hour I'd say...which was really annoying because her boyfriend was having fun. and the other girl was my friend from school who is "with" my boyfriends friend. So it was all good there.
My boyfriend, his sister and I ran around like crazy before the party clearing snow, running to shoprite, and i had to straighten my hair and make cupcakes and brownies and taco dip all within an hour and a half. Thank God I got my haircut in the morning so I didn't have to wash and blow dry it....But everyone started to come over around 7 ish just because the roads were bad (which i understand it took me an hour to get to his house instead of 30 minutes!). We all had a great time between games and just goofin around. it was definitely one of the best nights i had in a really long time. Since it was his party all his friends came, which i'm friends with too but you know how that works. It was all fun though because I get a long with his friends, they're all great! I could go on more about my night but its the kind of thing that you'd have to be there to get, or know the people. But I'm just happy with the outcome, little to no drama, no stupid, annoying girls, no super drunk idiots, good food and good company. I usually don't care for Halloween too much, but after this party I'm already thinking about next year and what I can be. It has to top my ninja turtle outfit from this year!
Anyways, I hope you all had fun at your Halloween parties too, and that stupid snow storm didn't mess anything up!!
That’s awesome that you had a fun Halloween despite the snow! I went to a party Saturday night and the spirit of Halloween just wasn’t there. Maybe because we’re all in our early-middle twenties, but the group pretty much sat around and watched movies even after I tried really hard to get everyone into the party spirit but it was kind of a fail. Any suggestions on how to get people to liven up and enjoy a party?
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry my comment never went through, I had this big thing typed out and then it got erased. anyway in a nutshell for what i said...was it really depends on the group of friends or people you are with if they're not your friends. My friends and I are all 22-26 I would say and we had a blast playing loaded questions and just hanging out having a few drinks. It's really hard to get a crowd to liven up if they're just all hanging around...but loaded questions is a great game, and they have an adult version too which is funny! i feel like the game Kings is always a good game as well but like i said it's just hard because it all depends on the people:/
